Rare pair of porcelain figurines from the Chelsea Porcelain Factory, England, Gold Anchor Period, 1756–1769.
This elegant rococo-style pair belongs to one of the most valuable and recognizable periods of Chelsea production, when the gold anchor mark was used. The composition depicts a gallant couple seated beneath richly decorated flowering trees, characteristic of mid-18th century English porcelain inspired by French and Meissen models. The figures feature refined modelling, high-quality craftsmanship, hand-painted decoration, and delicate gilding. The detailed rendering of costumes, facial expressions, and floral elements highlights the mastery of early English porcelain manufacture.
Manufacturer: Chelsea Porcelain Factory, England
Period: Gold Anchor Period, 1756–1769
Height of each figurine: approx. 18 cm
Mark: underglaze gold anchor mark (Gold Anchor)

The female figure has a very minor and barely noticeable chip to the little finger, which does not affect the overall appearance or decorative value of the pair. No other significant damage, cracks, or restorations have been found. Natural signs of age are present, consistent with the period.
A rare collector’s set of museum quality, seldom seen on the market, especially in preserved pair form. Suitable for collectors of English porcelain, Chelsea ware, and 18th-century decorative art.
