Prince Eugene de Beauharnais (1781 - 1824) - the adopted son of Napoleon, since 1804 a divisional general of the Napoleonic army. He took part in many campaigns of Napoleon, including the Russian campaign. In 1812 he commanded an Italian infantry corps. For many years he was Viceroy of Italy, he proved himself to be a wise and strong-willed ruler, which earned him the love of the people.
