Antique sterling silver teaspoon, made of good quality from the beginning of the 19th century. The spoon is made in England, London by Alice and George Burrows. The initials N. are elegantly engraved on the upper part of the spoon leg .
Alice Burrows was the wife of silversmith George Burrows , who worked from 1769 until his death in 1801. At this point, Alice took over the business in partnership with their son George and continued it until her own death in 1819.
The weight of the spoon is 10.8 grams
The condition of the spoon is very good with only surface wear, which should be expected after more than 200 years of use. Please be sure to review all the photos.
