Antique Teapot (kettle) on a stand by master Hukin & Heath
Very high quality and in excellent condition silver coating. Made in England , Victorian era 1850-1890 .
Handles made of black, ebony wood. There is a place on the stand where an alcohol lamp was placed to heat the kettle.
On the underside of the kettle there are H&H signs and a bird - the symbol of the master "Hukin & Heath" from Birmingham.
The firm was founded in Birmingham in 1855 by Jonathan Wilson Hakin and John Thomas Heath. The firm's collaboration with Christopher Dresser began in 1877; the first registered design dates back to 1878, and others were registered up to 1881. Dresser's design was presented at the opening of the firm's showrooms on Charterhouse Street in August 1879. In 1904, the company changed its name to Hukin & Heath Ltd.

Kettle: The width from the spout to the handle is approximately 21.5 cm (8.3 inches), the height including the handle is approximately 17 cm (6.6 inches).
The volume of the kettle is 1 liter.
A rare item in such excellent antique condition. There is a small dent on the side of the kettle. The kettle is clean inside. (see photos and videos).
Despite the fact that things are more than 120 years old, you can safely use them for their intended purpose. Or you can put it on the shelf and this beautiful teapot will decorate your collection.
