Antique silver-plated JOHN ROUND & SON Tea Set
A beautiful tea set from JOHN ROUND & SON. The set was made in Sheffield England at the end of the 19th century. The items are branded "HARD SOLDERED", which means a thick coating of silver.
The set consists of:
Teapot: height approximately 15 cm (5.9 inches), width from spout to handle approximately 24 cm (9.5 inches). The volume of the kettle is 3 1/2 pints.
Sugar bowl: height approximately 7 cm (2.8 inches), width with handles approximately 15 cm (5.9 inches).
Creamer: height approximately 6 cm (2.3 inches), width from spout to handle approximately 12 cm (5 inches).
Silver-plated tray, made in Germany. There are scratches on the tray. The diameter of the tray is approximately 25 cm (9.8 inches).
