Very elegant in its beauty, the Easter egg decorated with 9 turquoise and red stones, made in 1873 from massive silver 84 (now it is 875 silver) samples by Russian craftsmen.
The egg is laid out and inside the lion cub .
This work is a unique museum rarity.

Assay master Saveliev Vasily Pimenov, a silversmith, 1849-1874; had 3 apprentices from Kostroma burghers and 3 from peasants of the Podolsk patrimony and 2 students, some of them worked under contract and some on a passport.
