Antique crystal jar with lid sterling silver
The jar was made in England, Chester in 1905 from faceted crystal with a 925 sterling silver lid. The jar is designed for pins or jewelry. The silver cover of the coinage depicts a turtle on an openwork background . The underside of the lid is heavily gilded or covered with a golden sheen. The glass is a beautiful thick glass with a pattern and a bottom with a star-shaped cutout.
The side edge of the lid has the stamp sterling, Chester, UK, the date 1905 and the name of the master J. C. P. & Co. The weight of the roof is 9 grams.

The jar is in good antique condition, there is a pleasant aged patina on the silver lid, there are small dents (see photos and videos) the glass is in excellent antique condition. Perfect for a collection or gift.
